The Nursery is located in a large, three-storey Victorian property, just a short walk from Norbury train station, which has frequent trains into London Bridge, London Victoria and Croydon. We encourage parents to attend the Nursery by walking or by using public transport, whenever possible.
Our highly experienced and qualified staff offer a friendly and welcoming environment for parents and children. All children benefit from an exceptionally high standard of childcare and education from us. We implement fully the Early Years Foundation Stage 2012.
Your child’s early years are, as you know, a pivotal time of learning, development and growth. Purple Panda Nursery has created relaxing, safe, and stimulating environments in which your child can play, discover and develop all of the skills needed to become a confident, positive and well-rounded individual. We want your child to have lots of fun each day, at the same time as learning and developing new skills.
We encourage children to progress those activities and subjects that they are most attracted to, as well as those that they are not attracted to. We also offer them the opportunity to grow at their own pace. Our highly-trained team monitor the children carefully and plan suitable activities to stimulate learning and development.
Children approaching the start of school are provided with a solid foundation in school subjects to prepare them for school life and full-time education. We provide fun and stimulating lessons in reading and writing, science, maths, languages and art. This gives our children a head start when they attend school for the first time.
We also offer a great selection of extra classes for your children: they have cookery lessons, French lessons, football and team-building lessons with Kickstars, and dance, movement and music lessons with Lucy Sparkles and Friends. The Pre-schoolers and Toddlers are currently having Djembe drumming lessons with Mango Tree. We will continue to develop new classes and instruct external companies to provide classes. We welcome parents’ suggestions in this regard. There is no extra charge for these classes.
